It's been a while, but I hope this email finds you
well. We're gearing up for another election season and will be working
with a number of candidates in the Tacoma and Seattle areas. Anders Ibsen
is the current City Councilmember for the North End of Tacoma and is looking to
bring on an intern to help with campaign organization and outreach. This
is an unpaid position, probably 15 hours per week. I've attached a short
description for you to share with students and/or post to the blog.

Under the
direction of the campaign team:
* Direct fundraising efforts including
events and candidates call time to donors
* Oversee community outreach
* Execute the campaign plan including
direct voter contact, canvassing, public relations volunteer recruiting and
management
* Train volunteers and lead canvases
* Work with other campaigns if
applicable to implement an overall Get-Out-The-Vote strategy
